# Tone parameter

In muzaic each style (motive) has two sides: a **dark one (from 1 to 4)** and a **bright one (from 6 to 9)**.

The default value is 5.

This varies from one to the other, but generally follows what "dark"-"bright" could mean within a certain music style.
